…right now, currently rocketing through the wilds of Ontario on the back of a snorting steam engine, belching brimstone and sorcery. [And THAT, Via Rail, is a far, far better description than you deserve, I must say…]
But while I am away, I beg — nay, I PLEAD — that you turn your attention to an amazing blog I have been enjoying recently. It’s called Letters of Note, and I have had endless hours of pleasure reading the contents. How about an employment plea from Leonardo, for beginners? Or a cranky note to a misspelling student-admirer from James Thurber? Or the little story that would go on to become Peter Rabbit, as written to the child of a friend by Beatrix Potter?
Just a lovely, lovely site. You will SO thank me. Enjoy.
More soon…

Dear kc, Hmmmmmm, "thank you," eh? I have just spent the last precious 40 minutes (that I should've been writing my own words) reading the amazing words of others on Letters of Note, and I know that I will be spending waaaaaaay more time there–hopefully daily 'til I've read all the letters. Thus, I'm not sure appreciation is in order–perhaps some curses instead? Bwhahaahhahaahaha. I am joking, of course.Thank you–a HUGE thank you, in fact. It really is a wonderful, wonderful site and I'm so excited to know about it. Very inspiring. I was just teasing about the time comment, not that it wasn't spent–it was–but that I regret it. I don't. I discipline myself when need be–and when need doesn't be, apparently I read blogs and letters. π Thanks for posting and enjoy your rocketing, belching trip. π
